Full app privacy policy
Privacy Center
This full eighteen-section policy applies to Learning Mosaic version 1.0.0 on Android and is effective August 4, 2026.
No personal data is collected or transmitted. The app stores only generic local plan choices and module checkmarks. There is no account, Internet permission, advertising, analytics, tracking, chat, profile, camera, microphone, location, backup, or device transfer.
Responsible entity, scope, and effective date
Empowered Education, Inc. is responsible for the Learning Mosaic Android application. This policy applies only to Learning Mosaic version 1.0.0 on Android and is effective August 4, 2026. A separately visited website or service has its own terms and privacy practices.
Intended audience and adult-facilitator boundary
Learning Mosaic is designed for adult caregivers, tutors, mentors, and community educators. A learner may participate in an activity only under an appropriate adult's direction and supervision. The app does not provide child accounts, independent minor-to-adult communication, or services directly delivered to a child.
App purpose and main functions
The app is an offline facilitation workbench with fourteen educational modules, a fixed-choice session builder, static activity guidance, a tabletop presentation mode, a visual library, generic module checkmarks, safety guidance, sources, and this policy. It is not a school, enrollment platform, learning-management system, tutoring service, credential, individualized education plan, or guarantee of educational outcomes.
Data collected, transmitted, and data not collected
Learning Mosaic does not collect or transmit personal data. It does not request names, email addresses, phone numbers, identifiers, contacts, precise or approximate location, photos, audio, video, student work, grades, attendance, messages, payment information, advertising identifiers, or device analytics. No app data is sent to Empowered Education, Inc. or another server.
On-device preferences and session state
The app stores only generic choices on the device: the selected 15, 30, or 45 minute duration, selected module IDs for a draft session, and module IDs marked as explored. Android may also retain ordinary temporary interface state such as the current screen or step during process recreation. These records are not tied to an account or learner identity.
Sensitive records, youth records, and free-text notes
The app has no free-text field and is not designed to store student names, family details, grade levels, scores, attendance, school identifiers, disability status, accommodations, diagnoses, health information, behavior records, safeguarding reports, incident reports, private creative work, or other sensitive records. Adults should not attempt to use generic module choices as a substitute for protected records.
Permissions
Learning Mosaic requests no Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, notification, Bluetooth, nearby-device, storage, phone, SMS, advertising, or other dangerous Android permission. It reads only the images and text bundled inside the installed app and uses app-private preferences for the limited local state described above.
Accounts, login, and account deletion
The app has no registration, login, profile, password, cloud identity, subscription, or server-side account. Account deletion is therefore not applicable. The local deletion controls described in Section 13 are available without signing in.
Ads, analytics, tracking, attribution, and third-party SDKs
Learning Mosaic contains no ads, analytics, behavioral tracking, crash-reporting service, attribution SDK, social SDK, remote configuration, telemetry, targeted advertising, or third-party account SDK. It does not create an advertising profile or use app activity for cross-app tracking.
Sharing, disclosure, sale, and third parties
Because the app does not collect or transmit personal data, it does not sell, rent, share, or disclose app data to advertisers, data brokers, schools, funders, partners, or other third parties. Static educational references identify source organizations for attribution only and do not mean those organizations receive data or endorse this app.
External links, contact, export, and network behavior
Source addresses are displayed as non-interactive reference text. The app does not open a browser, send email, submit a form, call a phone number, upload files, export records, or use a network connection. Postal correspondence sent outside the app is controlled by the sender and postal provider, not by Learning Mosaic.
Retention
Generic plan choices and explored-module IDs remain in app-private storage until the user clears them, clears the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstalls the app. The app does not set a server retention period because it has no server copy.
Deletion, backup, restore, and device transfer
Use Clear plan to remove the duration and selected modules, or Clear all local data to remove the plan and explored-module checkmarks. Android app-storage clearing or uninstalling also removes them. Android backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for this app, so Learning Mosaic does not intentionally place this local state in cloud backup or migrate it to another device.
Security measures and limits
Local state is kept in the app's private Android storage and is not transmitted. Backup is disabled, no network permission is declared, and no remote account exists. No device or software can be guaranteed absolutely secure; people with unlocked access to the device or elevated system access may be able to view or alter local app state.
Children, Families, and safeguarding
Learning Mosaic is an adult-facilitator tool. It does not provide child profiles, chat, public posting, followers, rewards, leaderboards, location sharing, attendance, advertising, purchases, or direct contact between minors and unknown adults. Adults remain responsible for consent, appropriate materials, supervision, respectful participation, and following applicable safeguarding requirements.
Educational, accessibility, wellness, and safety limits
Content is general educational facilitation guidance. It is not medical, mental-health, therapeutic, crisis, legal, accessibility-compliance, diagnostic, special-education, or other professional advice. Reset Cards are optional ordinary pauses, not treatment. Maker activities exclude hazardous processes, but the adult must still assess the setting, materials, participant needs, and urgent situations and seek qualified or emergency help when appropriate.
Policy changes and user choices
A future app version that changes data practices will include an updated policy and effective date before those practices apply. Users may decline local persistence by not saving a plan, may clear local state at any time, and may stop using or uninstall the app. Material changes should also be reflected on the public policy page.
